RIDE FOR OUR FARMERS THIS SEPTEMBER
In 2019, in an aim to connect Australia’s Beach and Bush communities, we’re rolling out an Australia-wide bike ride where we are encouraging You to get on your bike (or spin bike) to ride for our farmers.
We want to raise awareness for mental health in the bush, as well as $150,000 to place one new counsellor in rural Australia to supply 100% fully funded counselling services to farmers doing it tough.
How can you get involved?
Register today and ride for our farmers in three simple steps!
1. Set a personal goal of how far you want to cycle in the next 30 days and measure out what distance that equates to between a beach and bush town (here are some examples)
2. Log your kilometres on your profile page
3. Share your progress with your community on social media and via email and raise money for every kilometre you ride
Whether you ride for recreation, or to commute, or prefer to get on an exercise bike at the gym, every kilometre counts.
Not a cyclist? Not a problem! If walking of running is your thing, that works too.
Make sure you grab an official Beach 2 Bush Ride t-shirt! Purchase one here , or raise over $500 to receive one for free!
